# Product strategy

StorageMind is the disk and storage-structure product within Jiang Finance Digital Tools. Its confirmed direction is to help people understand and manage storage structure on macOS.

## Product boundary

StorageMind and SpaceMind share a family but not an identity. StorageMind concerns disks and storage structure; SpaceMind concerns file space. They require separate product facts and separate release records.

## Current status

StorageMind is not publicly released. Signed build 7 verifies local volume-metadata reading without reading file contents, local snapshot and favorite-folder storage, no developer analytics or tracking, and no developer server. It can ask macOS to safely eject a removable device; disk repair, file deletion and restore are not current capabilities.

## Unknowns

Supported disks and file systems, broader safety model, target workflows, final storefront availability and pricing, and launch criteria are unknown. Build 7 targets macOS 14+ and contains a free base experience with an optional lifetime Pro StoreKit identifier, but the live product has not been created or verified in App Store Connect.
